Shoppers came in droves for the two-day duration of Santa’s Attic: A Christmas Bazaar in Christ the King Parish, Greenmeadows, Quezon City last December 13–14, 2014. The concessionaire-filled area offered meals and snacks, clothes and accessories, and more.
Sugarness, Cupkies by Pam, and Temptations from Venus filled the line-up of the many desserts and snacks there.
The Shawarma Bros, Maykamaya, and Roadside Diner had the heavier meals.
ENTiRE, New Creature, and The Barter Queen covered the clothes and accessories.
Other concessionaires like Cratsy Fatsy and Kimikabuhayan contained a variety of products: Cratsy Fatsy with their notebooks and notecards, and Kimikabuhayan with products made by students with Chemistry-related degrees for a social cause.
The foot traffic gradually increased, especially for the festive Sunday.
Project heads Aldwyn Tan and Irish Tolentino, now Finance VP and Finance AVP respectively, commented on the experience they wanted to achieve that time: “We wanted to give the [shoppers] a chance to do their last minute shopping, with an experience different from any other bazaar. We also wanted to give opportunities for entrepreneurs to showcase their products.”
“We plan to make the bazaar even bigger and better this [2015], with a larger venue and more concessionaires. We plan to make more noise for the coming Christmas season, filling it with programs to let the shoppers really feel the holiday spirit while going through their shopping,” they said.
Santa’s Attic was featured in Rappler’s Christmas bazaar guide for 2014.
